OCTATONIC DECADENCE

presenting exquisite choral music

Octatonic Decadence was formed in January of 2010 and already has achieved first place standing in the Canadian Federation of Music Festivals National Music Festival 2010 in the Choral Ensemble category, winning the Richard W. Cooke prize. Formed by David Buley, the group’s membership fluctuates as required according to the voices needed for the wide array of music the group performs. Octatonic Decadence offers concerts that explore ideas and themes of depth and challenge and we hope that our music reflects both of those sentiments.

We are also pleased to be able to welcome other choral groups to the Greater Sudbury area and have sponsored performances by the Elmer Iseler Singers, directed by Lydia Adams, and the Vancouver Chamber Choir, directed by Jon Washburn.
